Britishvolt gains Government backing for Blyth gigafactory

Britishvolt’s plans to create the UK’s initial gigafactory in Blyth in Northumberland have achieved with refreshing Govt acceptance and a described £100million of further funding by way of the Automotive Transformation Fund.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson mentioned the program for the factory was “a potent testomony to the competent personnel of the north-east and the UK’s area at the helm of the international green industrial revolution”.
