TOKYO — An explosion was documented at Honda Motor Co.’s plant in central Japan, police claimed on Sunday, with two workers sent to the clinic with burns.
The explosion at a switchboard transpired at around 9:15 am neighborhood time at Honda’s plant in Suzuka town, Mie prefecture, an officer with the prefectural police claimed. Two workers in their 20s, who have been examining the switchboard, have been injured and sent to be addressed, the officer claimed.
The enterprise is investigating, a spokesman claimed.
The Suzuka manufacturing facility is a person of Honda’s major production resources for mild cars, which includes the N-BOX.
A enterprise spokesman claimed the plant would function as typical on Monday.
