Stellantis to go fully electric in Europe by 2026

The Stellantis group has committed to providing only totally-electric powered automobiles in Europe by 2026 – a essential part of a new tactic called Dare 2030, which aims to reduce the carbon footprint of the carmaking large and its 14 makes by 50 for each cent by the conclude of the ten years.

The electrification of Jeep and Abarth in Europe will take place by this time too. 

Outside of the Dare 2030 deadline, the group has established out a roadmap in direction of complete ‘well-to-wheel’ carbon neutrality by 2038. Stellantis will also concentration on growing its battery manufacturing abilities to 400GWh – 250GWh of which will be centered in Europe, plus the ongoing development of hydrogen fuel-cell technology for commercial cars.
