Takuma Sato took the checkered flag at the 104th Indianapolis 500 this year. It’s the next time Sato has received The Best Spectacle in Racing, but this time he did it without having a one lover in the grandstands.
There was some waffling on whether or not fans would be authorized to watch in person at Indy, but the decision was in the end manufactured to make it a lover-absolutely free event for safety motives. Simply because of that, photographs from the race are a little bit weirder than typical. Turning on the television to watch the race was a little bit of a shock, even if we’re all setting up to increase accustomed to seeing sporting activities without having anybody in the stands.
