The Portuguese driver received the Formulation E crown for 2020 at race nine in Berlin.
We chat about it in this article on “Behind the Race” with Michela Cerruti and Matt Kew.
Antonio Felix da Costa claimed the ABB FIA Formulation E Drivers’ Championship and DS Techeetah the Teams’ title in the Berlin E-Prix Round nine, with the Portuguese following staff-mate and race winner Jean-Eric Vergne household at Tempelhof.
Da Costa holds a Drivers’ Championship guide the likes of which Formulation E has never seen – a 76-point, unassailable edge about staff-mate Vergne, who now sits 2nd with 60 points left to enjoy for. No driver has received the title with two rounds to spare, and this in his initial time with DS Techeetah.
