This week, the Volkswagen ID.5 and its sporty GTX sibling were revealed to the world as the German automaker’s first-ever electric coupe SUVs. Think of the ID.5 as a coupe SUV version of the ID.4. Its sloping roofline means it’s less practical but more stylish than its ID.4 sibling, though it sadly won’t be coming to America.
If you watched the ID.5 livestream reveal event, you may have noticed another new model that made a cheeky cameo appearance: the ID.Buzz. VW’s reborn Microbus was previewed as a concept at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. Now, four years later, it’s nearly ready for production.
