German supplier opens Serbian exhaust plant

German exhaust methods provider Boysen has opened a factory in Subotica, northern Serbia, the authorities of the autonomous province of Vojvodina advised SeeNews.com.

Boysen would produce 500 employment at the factory by 2024, the provincial authorities claimed in a statement.

In 2019, the Subotica town authorities claimed Boysen prepared to commit EUR65m ($73.3m) building a factory in Subotica’s Mali Bajmok industrial zone.

The factory would supply comprehensive exhaust methods for business vehicles and cars and trucks to Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, in accordance to the Boysen internet site cited by SeeNews.com.

The internet site claimed the factory occupies 38,000 square metres and employs “up to 400” people. Generation experienced been scheduled to start out final spring.
